Job Opportunities with Always Rafting & Kayaking

Are you looking for summer employment in the gorgeous mountains of Utah? Always Rafting & our partners Hoovers River Resort and Paiute Trail UTVs are looking for enthusiastic, adventurous, and friendly individuals to fill several positions in Marysvale Canyon for the summer of 2023.

Eligibility:

  1. Must be at least 17 years of age.
  2. Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be available to work through the summer, including weekends and holidays

Open Positions:

WhiteWater River Guide

Several positions are available for whitewater river guides for a 10-mile stretch of the Sevier River through Marysvale Canyon.  You will take 2-8 customers on your raft, safely navigating up to Class III rapids over a 1.5 - 2-hour trip while providing historical and geological insights to your customers.  You will also guide kayaking trips for up to 4 other single-person or double-person kayaks.  Always Rafting & Kayaking runs several rafting, kayaking, and tubing trips each day from mid-May to early September every day.  Your responsibilities will include shuttling customers and trailering rafts, kayaks, and tubes to and from the river put-in and take-out locations, maintaining all river equipment, and customer engagement.  

*Certifications required: Wilderness Advanced First Aid (WAFA), CPR, & White Water River Guide

Always Rafting & Kayaking provides training and certification opportunities to all guides.  


Tubing Specialist

Multiple positions are available for Tubing Specialist with Always Rafting & Kayaking. We offer up to 6 tubing trips a day on a 2-mile ‘flat-water’ section of the Sevier River. This position will be responsible for all aspects of the tubing experience including guest check-in, preparing the tubing gear, shuttling guests to the put-in location upstream, giving a short safety brief and sending them down the river, retrieving guests and gear from our river dock, cleaning gear, and resetting for the next group.

*No certifications required but Basic First Aid & CPR are a +


Photographer

Position for a photographer for all ARK river rafting and kayaking trips.  Pictures will be sold to customers after their trip.  You will be driving yourself to various locations along the river to capture action shots and returning to the store to transfer pictures to USB drives for sale.  Camera and USB drives will be provided.
